A much faster and tastier recipe for pork (back) ribs.

Ingredients

  • Pork ribs – 1 slab (back ribs)

  • Ground black pepper, onion powder, garlic powder – 1 tsp each

  • Paprika – 1 tbsp

  • Water – ¼ cup

  • Salt to taste

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 380F.
  • Wash and cut the pork ribs.
  • Mix the ground spices and salt in a bowl. Then, rub the mixture into the pork ribs and place them into the cooking pot.
  • Add ¼ cup of water into the pot, cover, and bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat to medium-low and cook for 15-20 minutes, until most of the liquid evaporates and a thick residue of oil and spices forms at the bottom of the pot.
  • Turn the stove heat off.
  • Line a baking tray with aluminum foil. Arrange the pork ribs onto the tray and space them evenly. Then, use a basting brush to apply the thick residue of oil and spices onto each piece. Ensure each piece is coated nicely.
